cub3D
A 3D maze drawn from a 2D world using raycasting.
CRaycastingMiniLibX

The idea
cub3D is a first-person maze project built in C. The world starts as a two-dimensional map, while the view gives the player the impression of moving through a three-dimensional space.
Under the hood
Raycasting makes that illusion possible. Rays are sent from the player’s position toward the walls; the distance to each hit determines how tall that slice of wall appears on screen. Nearby walls look larger, distant ones smaller.
The project uses MiniLibX to draw the result and update the view as the player moves.
